JUL 04 175 Years of Heritage for P&O

Tuesday July 3rd 2012 – This year is P&Os 175th birthday and to celebrate, all seven of P&Os cruise liners (Adonia, Arcadia, Aurora, Azura, Oceana, Oriana and Ventura), for the first time in their history, were present at their home port of Southampton today. The auspicious occasion was attended by HRH The Princess Royal who reviewed the flotilla and joined in the celebration.

As always Mobility at Sea’s Dave Budgen was there to witness this spectacular occasion and to assist the company’s customers embarking and disembarking the liners. Dave said that ‘It’s yet another first for Mobility at Sea and that without our customers, I would not have the privilege of attending an historic event such as this’. Mr Budgen went on to say that, ‘It’s thanks to my entire team of dedicated and organised colleagues who work tirelessly behind the scenes, that our customers receive the best service and worry free start to their holiday’.

In addition to assisting Mobility at Sea customers on all 7 of the P&O liners, the company delivered and distributed its entire stock of courtesy wheelchairs amongst the cruise liners to ensure everyone who need assistance, received it.
